Good ole Pumpkin Patch Fun!
Every year we hit up at least one pumpkin patch. Our usual plans include Vala's Pumpkin Patch in the Omaha, NE area but since we have a brand new Henry, travel wasn't in our plans. The local homeschool group
had plans for a trip to J&K Farms and we decided to join in:) These are the pictures of our family and some of the others. I am hoping all the other moms get to see these and enjoy! Thank you for the fun
memories.
Where has the time gone?
With the best of intentions....I had planned on using this as a mommy blog. I want to document my kids lives and share the funny stories that comes with raising nine children. I want to use this place for our memories.
Then my body fell apart. As someone who has never had any broken bones, no surgeries and aside from a heart issue years ago been very healthy this has been rough. I have a bulging disc at c5-6, bone spurs and arthritis.
My body hurts. I had so many things wrong I couldn't tell the horrible ER Dr. what exactly it was, I just knew I hurt and my hands were numb. Finally almost two months later I am no longer in traumatic pain and am trying to play
catch up. I have folders full of unedited pictures, just waiting to be shared:) This post is of our All Saints Day costumes. I helped host a local party this year. We tried a different get-together,normally hosting the party
in our own home. The kids seem to have fun and I enjoyed chatting with some other moms. Enjoy the pictures!

Mommy Blog?
I am slowly going to be transitioning this to my "mommy " blog. I want to be able to document my children's everyday activities. For daddy to read and see pictures and for family way back East. I want my children to know how much I love them and to read my words someday and share the memories with their own children. So over the next few days I will be changing pictures, writing some new posts, and introducing our sweet family.
Today we went on a fieldtrip with the local homeschool group. Our cousin and her children, who also homeschool, were there and we made some great memories. The day was perfect for outdoor time, you know those late summer days where you could just sit and relax in the sun? The leaves were blowing around us and no bugs biting little ones. It was perfect! Two of our older girls are visiting family in IA and the two boys wanted to go fishing with poppy. Abbie, second oldest, decided to stay home and enjoy quiet sewing time....so it was just myself, Anna (7), Maggie (3), Gemma (1), and baby Henry ( 6 weeks).
